Why I left Turk Leyjonu.

Hi Comrade Commanders, I am writting this post to explain myself to my former Comrades in the TurkLeyjonu Squad, and, also, to present myself to my new Comrades, the Members of the KISSARMYEMPIRE Squad. Why did I leave? My former Comrades know, only too well, how hard I have worked for my previous Squad, where I was, proudly, an Officer for several months (10, I think), almost imeadiatelly after I joined. I donated 10,237 troops (received 2,668), invested 299 Rep. Points, and helped everyone as much as I could. That Squad was my "first love" and you've better believe me when I say that it was helish taking the decision of leaving. But I couln't take any more! Couldn't take any more bad examples from "above"! Couldn't take any more "silence" from above! and couldn' take any more lack of "professionalism" from above! I never have fun when I ... don't win (I hate the word so much that I try not to use it) And

A few words on ... Heroic Defenses.

Hi, Comrade Commanders, As you all know, SWC gives us the opportunity, twice a day, to test our defensive strategies, and that's what Heroic Defenses are all about! When you click the button "Defend Now", your base will be attacked by a group of "enemy" troops, all of them of the same level as your own HQ. There are 3 different possibilities in regard the composition of those troops: (1) mostly infantry; (2) mostly vehicles, or; (3) a balanced mix of infantry and vehicles. When your Scout Tower "lights up", you can see which of the above 3 options will be in action on the next defense. Apart from your defensive layout, you could also use your Heroes, the troops in your Squad Center and your Starfighters, to help defeating those attacking troops. In my own experience, I only use Heroes (3 at my level) to strengthen my base defenses, and that much has been enough to win 99% of the Heroic Defenses. Since I was at HQ5 level, I think I on

Ressources and ... Contraband

Hi, Comrade Commanders, Our Comrade Yeu VTH asked me to write something about "Contraband" and, as this is one of the fundamental purposes of this blog, here is what I find most relevant about this issue... Coins and Alloy . There isn't much I can say about these "traditional" resources, except that they should go along with your game plan. Let me explain what I meant: until just a few days, I never worried about these resources, because I could find them every time I needed them ... "steeling" from the rebel scum. But this reality has changed for me, since I upgraded to HQ8! Those who follow this blog already know that I had "complained" for being "matched" only with level 9 (or even 10) opponents. Anyhow, and until just a few days, I always succeeded winning my battles, therefore steeling enough resources to match my needs, but this reality has changed, and not only was I "forced" to escape Dandoran (the

Turk Lejyonu - Our Squad Rules

Hi, Comrade Commanders, I am as tired of writting our Squad Rules, as you, "older" Members, must be of reading the countless repetitions you find (almost dayly) in our Squad chatroom. I have thought about this and concluded that there is only one good solution: from now on, I'll welcome newcomers with one invitation to come here and read about our Rules. Those who accept this invitation will have the best opportunity to know our Rules and, if they want, discuss them. Those who think that a Squad can progress without a few basic Rules ... will be surprised by their own removal. Our Official language . The founders of our Squad are of Turkish nationality, but they new only too well that our Squad was going to have Members from all over the planet, different nationalities and, naturally, different mother languages. If we are to understand each other, be able to request troops more clearly, understand orders (absolutely necessary in times of War), a.s.o., we need to

"FIND A MATCH"

Hi, Comrade Commanders, Don't you find a little "strange" that, when you want to attack, you click on a button that says ... "Find a Match"? It reminds me of the word "matchmaker" and it seems as if you were looking for a lover, when, in fact, you're going to make ... WAR, ahahah. Is this simply one bad choice (of wording) from the game's Authors? No, it is not ! It's something that should make you think about the "internal formulas" on which the game is structured, and make yourself simple questions like ... how does "the computer" choose my opponents (both in attack and defense)? Or, even better, does "the computer" evaluate my performance? The answer is quite simple:  yes, the game evaluates your performance (your base, your strength and your weaknesses) and, based on that, it selects your possible opponents in battle ! When you are a rookie in this game, you'll never be facing

A few words about ... crates.

Hi, Comrade Commanders, This will be a very short post, although the issue "crates" is of first rate relevancy for our SWC online game. In short, I will tell you that, in my humble opinion, the amount of crates that you'll be able to acquire in play, will determine how well you will succeed. It is that simple! On account of the amount of resources that the crates can offer? Nope, not really! (please note that I am convinced that the best source of resources ... even better then your own alloy and coin factories ... is ... is ... exactly, it is the rebel scum!) Then, are crates fundamental for the segments that will allow you to "unlock" new infantry troops, vehicles or airplanes? In spite of the fact that some of these "weappons" are very important, I would still say that ... no, not really! Then what are crates so important for? For the segments that will allow you to, after you have your Armory (HQ6, if I remember it well), "upgra

A few words about ... Squad Wars

Hi, Comrade Commanders, Squad Wars is a subject that gathers a wide majority of players interests, and I confess that I do not, quite, understand why... I am too competitive (or serious, or committed, if you prefer these words), both in play and in life, to welcome something that is rarely well planned, usually poorly executed and, thus, one kind of "a leap of faith" towards a possible Victory that will result more of the opponents errors, rather than our own efficiency. At least, this has been my own experience in the 4 Wars my Squad has been involved in, with an even (terribly poor) result of 2 wins and 2 "not wins" (I hate the other word so much that I always try to escape it). Results of the Squad Wars One positive side of Squad Wars is that there are almost no disadvantages if your Squad doesn't win the War, while, on the other hand, the benefits of a Win are quite significant for the whole Squad because of the Reputational Points that Memb
